Design intent.
Built reality.

I’m Tamer, an architect and Project Director at BSBG, based in Dubai.

My work sits where architectural ambition meets delivery: guiding teams, connecting disciplines and keeping the design intent in view as decisions become buildings.

Beyond the project, I’m interested in how places are experienced. The detail that makes you pause. The street that invites a detour. The everyday life that a drawing can only begin to imagine. Architectural photography is another way I explore those relationships: between light, material, scale and the people who use a place.

01Merdeka 118: why it reads so tallArchitecture

Height is measured in metres. Perceived height is created by proportion, contrast and context.

Merdeka 118 reads taller than its height alone would suggest because of vertical contrast.

02PAM Centre: climate as architectureKuala Lumpur

This is tropical modernism stripped back to essentials.

Exposed brick, concrete and black metal give PAM Centre a raw, almost Brutalist character, but the expression comes largely from climate rather than decoration.
