With few exceptions like O14 tower in Business bay; expressing the structure of the tower in favor of freeing up the internal space from obstruction is not a common design for tall buildings in the region.
It does however compliment the sincerity of the Architcture and integrity of structure as a celebrated architectural feature rather than concealing / cladding primary structure.
